Pit's Sword from Kid Icarus, a quick commission for some lovely gals up in England. This is made with pvc, leather, plywood, pink insulation foam, paint, polyurethane and gesso. It comes apart into the two swords and can be attached to be the bow.
Let me know if you need a prop, I do commissions!

They're not, it is just really reflective gold

Are you sure about that? Because I have never heard of something look SO FREAKING MUCH like a completely different color like that just because it was reflective. That gold must have been drenched in polish to make it that reflective. XD

They stay quite firm within each other. The handle is made of two pieces of pvc that get fitted together

Basically I got a pvc coupler and glued it to one side of the handle with pvc cement, then hid the width difference with some fabric, then covered it with the faux leather. The "male" side that goes into the "female" side with the coupler on it won't have the leather wrapped around the last inch, that way the two sides can be fitted together easily.

Oh my gosh! I want one that can break apart! I could probably make with sword or the two seperate pieces, but not having them connect and come apart.
