Another commission finished! This is made from pink insulation foam, wood, and a plastic skull. It stands about five feet tall and weighs around three pounds. My favorite feature is something I didn't even do--the skull's jaw is flexible so you can make it yammer, and the skull cap can come off so you can potentially hide a few dollar bills or a car key inn there X3 I'm so impressed by small things

For sale! Commissioner disappeared into nether space, so sword and horns are now listed up on etsy! [link]

EDIT: Sword is FINALLY sold! However, if you would be interested in having one, I'll be happy to take on the commission!

Haha thanks =)It was a fun project to be a part of.
I can ship anywhere, but I'd need to know your zip code so I can give you a quote on shipping before you decide to buy or not. Because of the sheer size of it, it could get expensive to go out of country. If you are interested, I can always be commissioned to make another in a slightly smaller size (4 ft or below), which will make the shipping cheaper

No, it's not necessary =) I can pay it, but later, and I hope it won't buy before me! é_è

Thanks!
Depending on the finish you want, you could just paint the foam as is, it just isn't as strong. You can put a few layers of gesso, give it a light sand, and then use oil-based polyurothane to give the foam some more strength. You can also use a coating resin instead(if you go to Michaels or Joannes they have one meant for covering wood vs casting) and put on several light layers using a throw-away brush. Try not to make the layers too thick, because the stuff does travel and drip on the opposite side. When that happens, just let it dry and you can sand it down. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions

This one is five feet tall, a four foot blade with a foot long handle (plus skull), and about a foot wide. Good luck with yours!
