If it's for France, is it OK ? *°*
I can ship anywhere, but I'd need to know your zip code so I can give you a quote on shipping before you decide to buy or not. Because of the sheer size of it, it could get expensive to go out of country. If you are interested, I can always be commissioned to make another in a slightly smaller size (4 ft or below), which will make the shipping cheaper
noob questions, how did you seal your foam? D: i plan on making this sword from insulations foam but i have no idea how to seal it so i could paint it..
Depending on the finish you want, you could just paint the foam as is, it just isn't as strong. You can put a few layers of gesso, give it a light sand, and then use oil-based polyurothane to give the foam some more strength. You can also use a coating resin instead(if you go to Michaels or Joannes they have one meant for covering wood vs casting) and put on several light layers using a throw-away brush. Try not to make the layers too thick, because the stuff does travel and drip on the opposite side. When that happens, just let it dry and you can sand it down. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions
Great job, i wish my sword to look like this
