Odolwa Mask by meanlilkitty
Odolwa Mask
Made for the Nintendo of America "Majora's Mask" mask making contest, this is Odolwa's Remains, the mask leftover from the first temple boss you fight in Majora's Mask. Made from pink insulation foam, nails, and sintra, then painted with acrylics.  It has been my long-term campaign to make all the masks from this awesome game, and now I'm one more mask down!

Goron Mask Necklace by meanlilkitty
Goron Mask Necklace
Inspired by the Legend of Zelda, Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, I've gone ahead and made these little guys into necklaces and magnets! About the size of a silver dollar, I cast this out of plastic after making the original out of Super Sculpy, then painted it with acrylics. Now available on etsy! www.etsy.com/listing/218362342…

I am a aspiring concept artist and illustrator for film and video games. I studied at the Otis College of Art and Design where I doubled majored in Digital Media and Fine Arts. After collage I started my own company with my friend, Tearatone, called "The Props Shop," where we work to bring the imagined to life. We work from video games, tv shows, anime, films, etc and are inspired to create the amazing pieces from them using the most durable and lightweight materials possible. I am a professional prop maker and avid cosplayer. I love going to cons, showing off my hard work and getting my pictures taken. Hanging out with friends, strange conversations, it's great. I really enjoy making my props, every project is a unique puzzle for me to figure out, trying to turn fantasy into reality. I always say that props help keep me sane, because in all my daily repetition, they are something that is different, something that gets finished and stays done. So, should you ever have that hard to approach prop you're trying to make, I'm happy to advise or take on commissions!

Hi I have two questions, regarding the Princess Mononoke, San's Mask Tutorial:

1.) Is a 7.8inch circle ok, for the foam circle? and

2.)  What is the brand for the Paper Clay?

Thank you.

Hello! 7.8 should be fine, maybe just a big snug, but as long as you don't have a really big face you should be fine. I'd measure your head and face to make sure it'd fit. Here's a example of Paper Clay www.jerrysartarama.com/discount-art-supplies/sculpture-and-pottery/creative-paperclay
Let me know if you need anymore help!
